The IARC Biobank (IBB) provides general logistical and management support to multiple collections developed in different parts of the world. Specimen retrieval is one of the services provided by the staff according to defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). DNA extraction, aliquoting and quantification are run as services for both IARC staff and external collaborators. The IBB staff ship biological samples according to international regulations.
